Crypto → PLN off-ramp

Illustrative scenario · Poland · Off-ramp

The problem

A trader holding USDC wants złoty in their bank account, and does not want to wait on a custodian to release it. On a centralized exchange the funds sit in custody, the withdrawal queues behind a manual review, and the market moves the whole time.

The flow

The seller locks USDC into smart contract escrow. The buyer sends PLN from their bank and generates a TLS Notary proof of that transfer — confirming the payment without exposing any bank details. The contract verifies the proof and releases the crypto automatically. Settlement conditions are checked with a post-quantum STARK proof from the Stwo prover, so there is no operator in the loop.

The outcome

Funds move from escrow to wallet once the proof verifies — no review queue between the two — and the cost is stated up front rather than folded into the rate. Because USDC holds its value across the short escrow window, the amount locked at setup is the amount settled — no price exposure, no custodian, no dispute queue.
